Basic Question :)
Ok, I'm getting a new PC in 4 days and its Windows XP. The one I have right now is vista. I heard you can install GW on a new computer then close out, swap out the gw.dat file and then it will recognize it. I don't want to download the maps anymore, and wait so long downloading the frame of the game. My speed 4 it is 10-20kbps and it would take forever. Also having all the maps which is on my gw.dat file would really help out on the PVP and ppl on missions.
Thank you so much! |

If your question is will that work then the answer is yes. Take your gw.dat from your old computer and replace the one on your new computer and you are up to date.
